Known for her monochromatic and minimalist aesthetic, Mikhaela Marie (b. 1988) is a Filipina self-taught artist who regards painting as a means of rediscovery and self-redemption. Central to her practice is the still life genre, where she draws inspiration from the mundane and everyday—particularly the quiet presence of common objects, botanicals, and domestic flora.
