FOOL is more than an alias—it is a declarative identity that resists systemic norms. With the slogan “FOOL changes the world,” the artist positions himself as a figure of resistance who refuses resignation. Rather than using conventional materials, FOOL creates his own paints, reconstructing materiality and temporality, and approaches painting as both sculptural practice and an act of creative labor.
His canvas becomes a theatrical space inhabited by emblematic characters that symbolize memory and emotion. These figures form fluid narratives completed through the viewer’s interpretation, opening a psychological realm where dream and reality, fiction and truth, intertwine.
FOOL’s work serves as a critical reading of invisible societal structures, while simultaneously transforming personal experiences and emotions into aesthetic forms. Through invented materials and visual language, FOOL rewrites the language of painting, posing questions about identity and voice within contemporary systems.
By choosing to become a “fool,” the artist symbolically steps outside the system. His attitude—oscillating between representation and abstraction, resignation and breakthrough—offers new layers of perception in contemporary painting, urging us to imagine the cracks art can create within established structures.
This body of work explores the themes of position and identity within all systems—whether societal, cultural, or personal. Just as the world recognizes both genius and fool, it also constantly presents us with choices. FOOL’s work stems from the fundamental question: What do you choose, and why?
His art asserts that no matter the situation, there is always a path—and within that journey, profound experience is gained. Through these experiences, a moment inevitably arrives when, even if no one else notices, the individual recognizes their own growth. FOOL’s work is both a visual and philosophical reflection of that moment of self-awareness and inner evolution.
