Transforming childhood fears of monsters, ghosts, and the dark into art, the artist first painted directly onto briefs as his unique medium.
More recently, he has moved to canvas, where the briefs now appear as heroic figures. Becoming a father deepened his connection to childhood memories, making his characters even more vivid.
With bold outlines and vibrant colors adding a playful edge, his work is gaining recognition in the Japanese contemporary art scene through exhibitions and art fairs both in Japan and abroad.
