As part of Taipei Art Week, Liang Gallery will hold a joint opening reception, featuring live performances by a double-cello ensemble to create an elegant atmosphere for appreciating contemporary art. Additionally, Soka Art will host an opening tour for the exhibition “Stars and Mythical Beasts” led by artist Hsi Shih-Pin. These are just glimpses of the array of exciting programs taking place on the opening day. Galleries throughout Taipei will present curated exhibitions and thoughtfully arranged interactive activities, showcasing a diverse artistic perspective to the public.

Taipei Art Week brings together galleries and various cultural institutions from across Taipei, encompassing a wide range of activities including exhibitions, public art installations, and city roaming routes. In total, the event features a network of 70 galleries, 18 museums, 34 connections with art units, 28 installations of public art, eight city roaming routes, and an international forum. Through Taipei Art Week, we aim not only to showcase cutting-edge artworks for art enthusiasts but, more importantly, to integrate art into the daily lives of the city's residents. We hope that art is no longer merely something to be enjoyed "inside galleries" but becomes an integral part of urban life.

Taipei Art Week has no admission fees; all events are open to the public (activities are subject to gallery announcements, and details are available on the Taipei Art Week website). Whether stepping into galleries or strolling through the streets, everyone can easily enjoy world-class artworks. This event not only positions Taipei as an international art city but also highlights local creativity, connects with the public, and energizes the city’s artistic vitality.
