Steven Harrington is recognized as a leading figure in California’s contemporary psychedelic-pop aesthetic. Since beginning his artistic practice in the early 2000s, Harrington has continuously evolved his visual language, developing a highly distinctive and iconic style. Influenced by skate culture, street art, and psychedelic design, his early works featured bold colors, surreal forms, and character-based compositions that explore themes of human connection and social dynamics.

As his practice matured, Harrington expanded his use of media—from illustration and canvas to large-scale fiberglass and aluminum installations, skateboards, limited-edition merchandise, and sculpture. His works blend playfulness with introspection, drawing inspiration from California’s mystical atmosphere, multicultural environment, and rich natural landscapes.
