陳盈如的作品題材經常是以台灣民俗、中國傳統的人、事、物做為主角，結合生活中遇到的事件、故事為主軸，透過第三者的角度以獨立和純粹的心境，在作品中表達了對所處環境的感受、經歷。擅用 「心、意」在畫作中融入自我想像、天馬行空的潛意識，豐富的色彩、幽默逗趣的造型，使得畫面構成了屬於自我的高度顯意識。

The works of Chen Ying-ru often feature Taiwanese folk customs and traditional Chinese people, events, and objects as the main characters. They combine events and stories encountered in life as the main theme, expressing feelings and experiences of the environment through the perspective of a third party with an independent and pure state of mind. Chen skillfully integrates her own imagination and whimsical subconscious into her artwork using “heart” and “intention,” enriching the colors and creating humorous and interesting forms, thus forming a highly conscious self-image on the canvas.
